Consultation Liaison Service

The Consultation Liaison Service for children and adolescents provides psychiatric evaluations and brief treatment for patients and families of Hasbro Children's Hospital.

We see children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders who also need inpatient pediatric care. These children have psychiatric or behavioral complications of pediatric illnesses, neuropsychiatric syndromes or symptoms thought to have significant psychiatric components. The service also provides care for those patients suffering from issues related to the adjustment to medical illness or compliance with treatment.
