Join us if you are living with hepatitis C.
This group is for women thinking about treatment, currently on treatment, waiting for new treatments, or those who have been cured and want to lend their experience. The aim is to build a community of people who understand the complex issues related to this disease. We encourage you to bring your support person with you.
This is an informal group where sharing is voluntary. It is okay to just sit back and listen.
There is always a theme, whether it is nutrition, new medications, clinical trials, laughter yoga, or updates from the annual liver meeting.
This is a multicultural group. The group is facilitated by Sara Wriston, NP, and Kathy Primo, RN, who provides Spanish interpretation and also speaks Portuguese.
To RSVP or for more information and to learn what will be discussed at the next meeting, call Kathy Primo, RN, Clinical Manager, at 401-793-7080. The support group will not meet during the summer but will return on Tuesday, September 17.
Refreshments will be served.
