The Pediatric Heart Center

Rhode Island Hospital's technicians and physicians perform approximately 2,500 pediatric echocardiograms each year in the hospital's dedicated pediatric echocardiography laboratory.

The echocardiography laboratory is located in the pediatric outpatient office. Each test is supervised by a physician.

Our services include:

• awake and sedated transthoracic echocardiograms
• transesophageal echocardiograms
• fetal echocardiograms
• stress echocardiograms

"Echo only" referrals are accepted for transthoracic and fetal studies. Call 401-444-4612 for more information.
