General, Thoracic and Endoscopic Surgery Services
Whether a child needs an urgent procedure or an elective operation, the
pediatric surgery division of Hasbro Children's Hospital is available to
provide operative management and perioperative care performed by faculty
that is recognized nationally as leaders in American pediatric surgery.
The division has all of the mechanisms to support the child and family
through what can be a stressful experience.
The division comprises four board-certified pediatric surgeons, two
nurse practitioners and a fellow. The division is one of only 32 North
American centers that train future pediatric surgeons. Its research is
funded by the National Institutes of Health. The division is noted for

Fetal surgery and
consultation, twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome
