The Center for Sports Medicine provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment and subspecialty resources to Rhode Island and southern New England athletes of all ages.

A collaboration between Hasbro Children's Hospital, University Emergency Medicine Foundation and University Orthopedics, together we strive to provide the best patient care. Our team is comprised of primary care sports medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists, whose combined knowledge and expertise help to treat everything from the most common to the most complex sports injuries in children.

Our center treats sports-related conditions including:

• hip and pelvic injuries

• stress injuries
• throwing injuries

The Center for Sports Medicine was created in order to address the immediate needs of young athletes by offering specialized care to help patients return to play as soon as is safely possible.
